As-Sadiq K-12 Private School, 2021
This project involved a complete renewal of the Building Automation System (BAS) at As-Sadiq K-12 Private School, replacing an outdated system with a modern, fully integrated solution. The school’s mechanical and lighting systems included 28 rooftop units, 2 make-up air units, 2 energy recovery units, 24 rooftop exhaust fans, pumps, boilers, lighting control panel, and over 24 VAV boxes.
Our engineering team designed a new BAS in compliance with the latest ASHRAE 13 and ASHRAE 36 standards. The scope of work included removing the existing BAS, installing new controllers and sensors, and developing customized system graphics for ease of monitoring and control. Tailored scheduling was implemented to meet school operations and special event requirements, ensuring maximum efficiency and comfort. A comprehensive training program was also provided to school operators, ensuring confidence in managing and maintaining the new system.
The result was a modern, flexible, and energy-efficient BAS that significantly enhanced building performance and user control.
